Jacqui Ferris

Jacqui is a highly respected Executive Coach and Facilitator and Presenter who has coached and advised leaders in internal organisational roles and as an external coach, since 2003.

She is the Managing Director of PHQ and the key point of contact for PHQ engagements. Jacqui designs and delivers tailored one-on-one, team coaching and leadership development programs for executives and Board directors, working closely with Human Resources and Organisational Development clients to scope and deliver seamless results via targeted and practical engagements.

Rex Wood

With a strong background in building and leading teams in IT&T, advertising, marketing and financial services, Rex is experienced in the ongoing requirements of business to be creative, innovative and agile.  

At PHQ Rex is the creative lead on PHQ program development. His breadth of knowledge and experience means he is consistently engaged to mentor and coach senior executives.  His business experience and approachability, combined with clear strategic thinking, and practical problem solving, is what clients find most valuable.

Michael Bullen

Michael has deep and broad experience in leadership, strategy development, innovation, organisational transformation, and implementation.  His professional career has focused on sustainability and how this underpins future business opportunities.

Michael has a strong track record in building relationships with stakeholders and partners, and the creation of innovative models to achieve these business outcomes.  He has proven ability to develop, coach and mentor staff and mobilise leadership teams to achieve significant outcomes.  This springs from an underpinning personal belief that the ability to build the capabilities of the individual and teams is one of the key leadership challenges that separates the best leaders.

Steven Ford

Steven is a Leadership Coach and Mentor, as well as a recent Managing Director.  Having recently retired from corporate life, he remains on the Board of Directors for Bulbeck Group in Newcastle, where he spent 6.5 years at the helm. 

Steven has had a long association with PerformanceHQ and is now working with both senior and upcoming leaders, peer learning groups and intact team development programs.  His skill and experience lend itself to businesses needing to diversify, innovate and move quickly to take advantage of new and emerging business environments.

Melanie Gowland

Prior to establishing a coaching career, Melanie held senior positions in Project & Structured Finance, and Institutional Banking, as well as managing a significant portfolio in the health sector, for over 20 years.  During this time, she developed strong corporate relationships which led to the funding of some major government PPP projects within Australia.

As a coach and group facilitator, Melanie undertakes executive leadership development for PHQ clients and has worked with a range of organisations and leadership teams in Australia, from tier one banks and law firms and top 100 ASX and not for profit organisations as well as small to mid-tier/growing firms.

Lisa Thompson

Lisa joined PerformanceHQ in February 2020 bringing with her a wealth of knowledge and a diverse skill set across client liaison and executive support with over 20 years of experience in administration. She has provided support to people in all levels of business: from Directors and Senior Executives to entrepreneurs and small business owners. Lisa has frequently worked with C-Suite Executives, and therefore can offer professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality at the highest level.

Lisa manages the end-to-end process of PHQ’s leader development workshops and executive coaching. She is positive and proactive and has a pragmatic approach to problem-solving. Lisa prides herself on her ability to combine professionalism and compassion in all interaction with stakeholders giving you a sense of ease and confidence throughout your journey with Performance HQ.
