Team Coaching

 

Success in any type of business is not an accident. It is a clearly articulated strategy implemented by a team of people.

A 'high performance team' working and collaborating together is almost unstoppable.

Team Coaching helps increase organisational performance, in a cost effective and time efficient way.

It seeks to build the capability of executive teams to solve business problems as a collective, with or without the CEO’s input - a necessity for today’s leaders.

PHQ takes a systemic approach

Systemic team coaching is a process by which a team coach works in partnership with a whole team, both when they are together and when they are apart, in order to help them both improve their collective performance and how they work together, and also how they develop their collective leadership to more effectively engage with all their key stakeholder groups to jointly transform the wider business and co-create value for all their stakeholders.

Most of the team coaching taking place within organisations focuses exclusively on a team’s internal ways of working.

Systemic team coaching does this however it also examines the influences outside of the team group that affect performance. It gives teams the skills and self-awareness to work at depth across the whole organisation, with a more collaborative, stakeholder-orientated focus and a much greater understanding of their overarching purpose.

Executive/Team Coaching

PHQ specialises in Performance Coaching for senior executives, CEOs and Board Directors.

Not only do we create better leaders, we also focus on building a personal brand and future career trajectory.

Executive coaching is about applying new knowledge and skills in the workplace and / or the further development of existing skills. We encourage leaders to use greater self-awareness and up to date leadership and management techniques over time, in an informed and practical manner and with sustained and growing benefits.

We believe the support of the manager/sponsor in coaching is integral to the overall success of the engagement and more specifically, to informing the development plan that will underpin the desired outcome and continue, beyond the conclusion of the engagement. 

PHQ regards the use of stakeholder interviews from third parties as being integral to the executive coaching engagement.

C-Suite & Board Consultancy

In our view, a successful engagement is underpinned by well-considered, well executed and well documented Research. Post confirmation of the brief, and as a key part of the acquisition strategy, we apply a structured and rigorous approach to this critical step - carried out by a highly skilled and experienced Research team, working closely with the Lead Search consultant, throughout the engagement. 

A thoughtful, structured on-boarding process is also critical to ensure the most successful induction of the new executive. 

PHQ continues its ongoing candidate care process into a post-appointment phase.  This is a unique point of difference compared to our competitors.  We utilise our executive development experience to provide monthly one-on-one catch up/coaching calls as candidates progress through the first 100 days and beyond.
